Usage
This is a song for young children and just doing the song works well. Alternatively to focus on the idea of looking before doing the song have the children make a telescope by rolling a sheet of paper into a tube. The design I've used can be downloaded below. We spend a little time colouring shapes before rolling the paper.
Follow Up
Sit down and look for specific objects in the room. Young children may run to touch objects so turn this into a game by sometimes asking them to touch items and sometimes to look at items. If they run when they should look make a harsh buzzer sound.
