The
ability to be able to do an activity quickly, repeatedly and accurately is
a pretty good indication of mastery. In this mini computer game the player
is required to recognise a word and click on the corresponding picture. Doing
so will help a small raft escape from a monstrous shark. If the player makes
a mistake the shark gains ground (or should I say water). Too many mistakes
or lack of speed and the raft will be gobbled up. There are five rounds. Each
round uses a different set of words. Here is a table showing the words used:

At the beginning of the game players get to choose how hungry the shark is
and how fast it moves. Once established the difficulty level doesn't change
from round to round. The ravenous fast shark is a very tough challenge.
I'd love some feed back on this game. To use it simply download the file and place it somewhere you can find it. Double click on the shark icon to start. Unfortunately, the game is for Windows systems only.
