Hello!

The Alternative Media Index Resources webpage originally started after I attended a seminar on Class and Media. At the seminar, which was nominally to take a critical look at media, I was disappointed with the extent that people still relied on mainstream news sources even after critical readings on the topic. So I decided to promote a list of much more radical sites than the New York Slimes, the Wall Street Urinal and the Washed-out fence-Post.

I believe our modern society is now due for a radical transformation, and accurate, honest, insightful (inciteful!) and bold sources of information are necessary if we are to survive the coming bumpy ride. We can either choose to ignore the future or participate in it, I hope you will choose the latter.

Any suggestions for new sites or criticisms of existing sites are welcome. Thank you to Chris Hunt for making this webpage possible and for helping to compile many of the sites. Enjoy and learn, but remember, don't live your life behind a computer monitor!
